Why we don’t use “Natural Flavors” in our drinks…
When we started Blessed Beverage Co., one thing was non-negotiable: transparency. As a nutritional therapy practitioner passionate about holistic health, I’ve learned how important it is to know exactly what you're putting in your body—and sadly, “natural flavors” don’t really tell you anything.
While the term sounds harmless (even healthy), it can actually include hundreds of undisclosed chemical additives, preservatives, and flavor enhancers—many of which have no nutritional value and don’t support your body’s well-being. That just didn’t sit right with us.
So many mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages on the market are full of “natural flavors,” which is frustrating when you're trying to make better choices. We wanted to offer a different kind of drink—one made with integrity and intention.
That’s why we used real juice concentrates and vanilla extract to achieve our flavor—even when we were told it couldn’t be done. It took a little more time, creativity, and prayer, but we knew it was worth it. Because we wanted our drinks to reflect our values: honest, nourishing, and rooted in integrity.
No secrets. No shortcuts. No natural flavors.
Just clean, functional ingredients that taste good and do good.
